Is a swarm of fish bigger than a school of fish ?

For some strange reason I got up early today and went for a boat ride. The sun was coming up and the fog was coming in. The tide was starting to flood so I went out to my favorite spot and then to my next favorite spot. The first hour resulted in a big zero. The fog started to lift so I took a ride. Saw a few birds then a few fish then a lot of fish then a ton of fish. I haven’t seen so many bass in a couple of years. There were so many I crimped the barb and tried to get the singles on the edges to bite instead of just throwing it in the middle of the schools. Most fish were around eight lbs. with the biggest about 12 or so. I had nonstop action for two hours and then it tapered off for another hour and by then it was pretty bright so I called it a day. There were large schools of bait and you could see the bass swim through them. This could be a good summer.
