And then the fish showed up

I went out this morning by myself to see if there was any life left in the ocean. My first cast caught a 12 lb. bluefish so that wasn’t a bad start. I had a steady pick of 8 - 12 lb bass for about four hrs. They were on squid and sand eels. The difference was that today they wanted to eat.  I actually got to cast at selected breaking fish. I picked up one more 12lb. blue and that finished the day. I don’t know where the big blues came from but one or two a day is just enough work for me. The fish were pretty much spread out so you could have a spot all to yourself.
